World Table Hockey Tour Tallinn Cup 2022

Tallinn Cup is the oldest and biggest table hockey tournament in Estonia.
It is organized by the Estonian Table Hockey Union and this year Tallinn Cup 2022 – tournament of World Table Hockey Tour 2021/2022, level Super Series.

VENUE

The ultra-modern hotel (4-star status) with location in the center – easy access to Old Town and overlooking to the Tall Hermann tower. In this place in August was the World Table Hockey Championship 2021.
Table Hockey World Tour stage will be held in the hall “Peterson” (417 m2).

For the participants of the tournament are created special prices for accommodation:

Accommodation in Standard rooms with following rates:
Single occupancy – 55 EUR/ night
Double occupancy – 60 EUR/ night

Accommodation in Superior rooms with following rates:
Single occupancy – 65 EUR/ night
Double occupancy – 70 EUR/ night

Extra bed – 20 eur/per day. Max it is possible to put one extra bed to Superior class room.

The price includes accommodation, a buffet breakfast, and use of the Aqua Center and gym.

REGISTRATION

Pre-registration for the Tallinn Cup is valid until April 4, and close at 00.50.

Registration fee for participation in the tournament – 20 euro payable in cash in locally venue with registration to the tournament, for juniors – 15 euro.
Special wild-card and free participation from the organizers for the tournament advertising, provided to the Winner of the Tallinn Cup 2017, 2018 and 2019 Maxim Borisov (Russia).

The hotel suggests dinner for players after tournament (buffet) with alcohol – 20 euro for person.

LUNCH IN HOTEL

For the participants of the tournament we offer to have lunch at the hotel.
From 12.30 to 14.00 for players will work Bystro Mary. A special menu is made, which includes hot dishes, salads, drinks: rice with vegetables, chicken fillet, salads from fresh vegetables, fruits, drinks, coffee, tea, bread.
NB! The cost of lunch for one person is 10 euros.

PRIZES

  • Prizes will be awarded to players who took the first 3 places in the “Open”, “Ladies”, “Veterans”, “Juniors”, “Kids U-13” and “Superveterans 55+” categories and the winners of all divisions.
  • The best players in juniors, ladies and veterans categories will be decided by play-off (best of 5) starting from 1/2 final (4 players).
    Players for those play-offs will qualify from OPEN tournament.
  • If that the candidates for individual prizes play in OPEN play-off, they guarantee one of the prizes in a category.

TOURNAMENT SYSTEM

If there will be 65 participants of the tournament, there will be 5 qualifying groups, out of which 5 best players (25 in total) will enter to the one final group.
Players who took in the qualification places from 6th to 9th (20 in all) go to Division 1, the all rest to Division 2.

NB! ADDITIONS

If there will be 40-65 participants, then in the qualification there will be 4 groups (A, B, C, D), of which the top 6 (in total 24) will qualify for the 1 final group. NB! Points in games with each other are taken with them to final group. Players who took in the qualification places from 7th to 11 (total 20) go to the Division 1 without taking into account games in qualification groups (they do not take points with themselves). Players who took in the qualification 12-16 places (20 or 21 in all) go to Division 2.

If there will be 66 -90 participants, then in the qualification there will be 6 groups (A, B, C, D, E, F), of which the top 8 (in total 48l) will qualify for the 2 final groups (24+24).
NB! Points in games with each other are taken with them to final group.
Players from qualification groups A, D, F go to Final group 1.
Players from qualification groups B, C, E go to Final group 2.

Players who took in the qualification places from 9th to 11 (total 18) go to the Division 1 without taking into account games in qualification groups (they do not take points with themselves).
Players who took in the qualification 12-14 places (18 in all) go to Division 2.
All others from qualification go to Division 3 (they do not take points with themselves).

If there will be 90 -120 participants, then in the qualification there will be 8 groups (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H), of which the top 6 (in total 48l) will qualify for the 2 final groups (24+24).
NB! Points in games with each other are taken with them to final group.
Players from qualification groups A, D, E, H go to Final group 1.
Players from qualification groups B, C, F, G go to Final group 2.

Players who took in the qualification places from 7th to 9th (total 24) go to the Division 1 without taking into account games in qualification groups (they do not take points with themselves).
Players who took in the qualification 10-12 places (24l) go to Division 2.
All others from qualification go to Division 3 (they do not take points with themselves).

If there will be 121 participants or more, then the 8 best players in the ITHF World Rankings will be free from qualification games.
In the qualification will be 8 groups, of which the best 5 players (total 40) will qualify for the final groups. Top-8 players are added to them. They do not take points with themselves. In 2 Final groups (24+24) all players are seeded by the ITHF World Ranking.
Players who took place in the qualification places 6-8 (total 24) go to the Division 1 without taking into account games in qualification groups. 9-11 places from qualification go to Division 2, 12-14 places go to Division 3.

PLAY-OFF
If the one final group: to play-offs are the top 16 players.
If the 2 final group: to play-offs are the top 8 players from each group (8+8).
All series will be played up to 4 wins (no more than 7 games).
In divisions no play-offs.
